Dr. Julius Mallette is currently serving as Chief Medical Officer at Kinston Community Health Center. He is a North Carolina resident and has been practicing for over twenty years. He is Board Certified from the American Academy of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
His interests include maternal fetal medicine, human genetics, and eliminating health care disparities. He is the president of the Old North State Medical Society Andrew A. Best M.D. Chapter. He has become instrumental with educating patients and communities about "Triple Negative Breast Cancer" to increase the quality and life styles of African American women who over the age of 60 years are considered a risk factor. Dr. Mallette' prior role as Senior Associate Dean and Assistant Vice Chancellor for Regional Health programs of the East Carolina Brody School of Medicine has enabled him to have contacts with a variety of medical providers in our region.
Through these relationships, he has been able to recruit several providers that share his vision for the team approach to quality patient care.
