DESCRIPTION
An experienced individual to serve as Chief Financial Officer with a strong health care finance background and a desire to provide the strategic support needed to move this viable operation.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITES
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures and is responsible for the Corporation's fiscal soundness.
- Responsible for the implementation of recording and timely reporting of entries in the general ledger, payroll, payables, receivables, grants, accounting, taxes, budget preparation, financial reporting (Medicare, Medicaid, UDS, FSR, IRS, budgets) patient registration, cashiering, and purchasing
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree Business Administration/Accounting
- Master's degree preferred
- 5-10 years of progressive, professional, managerial experience in the field of accounting/finance with budget preparation, fiscal management, computer accounting programs, and grants management supervision
- Must be self-motivated and possess the ability to communicate effectively
